It's fun but holy fuck the killer is favored so hard. I've won one game as survivors so far. Haven't played as the killer. I'm sure it will die a bit quickly like evolve unless they can balance it out a bit. At least if it does die it's only 18$ so it wouldn't be much of a loss.

You purchase items in the bloodweb. If you die with an item, you lose it. The only way to get it again would be to fill up the rest of the bloodweb and hope the item you lost/want appears on the next level.

I'm sorry anon, but that's where this game is headed. Its publisher is Starbreeze. Looking at their history, I can almost guarantee you that Starbreeze will release new Jasons or Survivors with unique abilities for $10 each.
Look at what they did to Payday. The first one was a game released for free on PSN+, and only like $20-30 on Steam, and all its additional content was released for free. Then Starbreeze picked up the devs and published Payday 2. They locked them into a contract that demanded they make DLC, and there was already 6 planned before the game was even launched. Look at Payday 2 today: It's a $20 game with $150 in DLC.

For future reference, the kill area is standing behind them when they're downed, and hitting the left click prompt. This also means that if you're in a one of these games as a survivor, you can do small circles on the ground to avoid being killed, at least until the killer gets sick of chasing you and puts you on a hook.

Fuck, it's great, I even managed to hang all 4 players in the basement at once on my second play as a killer.
However those hutches are annoying, 90% of time the last person uses them before I can even find them.
Also, I wish they would add taunt ability to the killer, being able to choose voice lines like "I see you", "I know you're there" etc. said in some creepy voice beacuse it could make someone panic and reveal himself, it would be pretty cool mechanic, survivors should get some too, things like ability to scream which would trigger loud noise info so one person can lure killer while the rest is busy with generators.

there was a kickstarter game just like this one where the killer was a ghost and could go through walls and haunt objects, but couldn't kill people, and had to materialize outside of the vision of the survivors
hopefully there's some sort of killer similar, the game has a lot of material from other games (like damned, a shitty spook game that was abandoned) to work with, not to mention all the horror tropes they can use, and the stacks of cash starbreeze has from payday 2

If you want more items, then join as a survivor, loot a chest, and then escape. It's not really worth doing, but it's a good way to save your items by just using whatever you get in a chest instead.
