Is this the dawn of Grand Strategy Games?
If it's anything like Stellaris, it's a barebones pile of shit with no gameplay and you'll have to wait 4 years before there's enough content to actually justify buying it
dawn? hoi3 was great. this will be easier to learn because of the interface and what might be a very stupid tech tree thing
HOI is the least interesting Paradox grand strategy and it will sell nowhere near the amount of Stellaris

Stellaris currently has enough depth for maybe 20 hours of fun at most, HOI will have hundreds, providing they didn't simplify everything to badly.

that doesn't mean shit when HOI has no mass market appeal

wont stop them from supporting the game for years like with hoi3, enough ww2 nuts will buy it as always

Dawn? They've been around for years. It's not even the dawn of them being mainstream since Crusader Kings 2 came out 4 years ago. They are growing in popularity, though.

Judging by Stellaris it'll probably be the fall of grand strategy as Paradox moves towards making 4X boardgames.

Paradox strategy games were always boardgame tier with the possible exception of V2.

Yeah no. V2 is my favourite GSG but HOI3 is on an entirely different level of autism.
