That's the most retarded part. The elements existed prior to the sages, they just presumably embody those elements which were already significant. I mean you're literally arguing that a picture of fire proves Darunia or whoever must have existed before because duuhhuh how else would they know about fire?!
I still think it'll be a sequel to Skyward Sword, with this being the same link, since Link and Zelda stayed on the ground instead of going back to Skyloft, and this Link looks pretty much the same.

You don't seem to follow. The analog you draw is to Skyward Link's clothes, and Link U's vambracers.
Link U is both wearing bracers and vambracers. His bracers are colored cloth, but his vambracers are brown leather.
