I've been farming this fucker for 2 hours and he STILL hasn't dropped his armor. I have everything else, gauntlets leggings, crossbow, sword hemlet, but the armor just will not fucking drop.
Am I missing something?

Offhanding the crystal rapier you get from the crystal sage soul also adds item discovery. Plus you can wear the symbol of avarice which adds a shitload
