I actually messed around with it a lot. The combat does not have anywhere near the amount of depth of other JRPGs, like Xenoblade Chronicles X for instance. It also isnt as deep as something like Bayonetta or DMC, it occupies this weird half-assed middle ground that doesn't really take advantage of what it could offer.

This is heartrending. I just realized I've grown to dislike Final Fantasy 15, and other related SE games because I have been negatively influenced by a true unstable individual, to the point that I don't consider it a must buy at launch now.
