Persona 4 Golden is fucking fantastic, looks great, and is one of the best new versions of an existing game I've ever seen.
It's nice being able to watch youtube videos at a decent quality.
It's nice being able to play some PS1 games on the system.
That's all I got.
OLED screens are absolutely beautiful and it was nice for Sony to distribute early Vita models with early OLED technology for a rather cheap price despite those fucking proprietary memory card prices.
Shame about the 1000 models are discontinued. This is an instance where the slim version is inferior.

For a handheld, its graphics are amazing
It gets a wider variety of niche Japanese games than any other console
The only bad things really are that SCEA failed to support it that well. Also a lot of games never get localised, so while its library is still good, you always have that feeling of what it could've been had it been more popular and had more games localised in the west.

There's nothing wrong with the Vita itself, the only problem is the overpriced proprietary memory cards and developers not making enough games for it. Brand new Vita 2000 for $120. That's a pretty decent price if you want it new.
I own a 1000 and a 2000, don't worry about the screen, it looks fine. And it's more comfortable and lighter. Battery life is longer too.

Yeah its the slim model, the old model is going for 99.95 refurbished as well if you really prefer the old model. The slim model is better in every single way, with the screen being somewhat of a personal preference.
Best place to buy the cards is probably ebay, i bought a 32gb one about a week ago for 40 bucks, sometimes you can get a good deal.
