Barony is on sale on Steam right now for $3
anyone else play this shit?
It's a first-person roguelike reminiscent of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup & the other classics, but with action combat and a lot more environmental traps
It looks like Minecraftwith guns.
Is it better/any different than Delver? Because it looks basically the same, and Delver has been worked on for a long time now. I haven't actually played it since it was first released in early access so I don't know how much better it's gotten but it was decent then.

Kovic will never escape this.
It looked like more of just backpedaling and smacking Shit with poor combat. All these first person roguelites play like ass because of this.

OP here, I fucking hated Delver. It was short and boring as shit
Barony is much more similar to the classic roguelikes and it is balls-crushingly difficult, unlike Delver

Looks like cube world, does it actually have objectives? If so I might sell some cards to pick it up.

yeah, there's 20 floors (30 if you count optional areas) and the goal is to beat the final boss on the 20th floor

I been following it for a while, seems good but it just dosent convince me to drop my 3 gabe bucks on that game
Are there ranged weapons, different kinds of melee weapons (swords, axes, knuckles?), magic?
Just want to know how much content there is. I've tried a lot of these games and they get boring after an hour because of a lack of content.

ranged weps are slingshot, bow, crossbow, and thrown
melee are spear, axe, sword, mace, dagger
theres around 30 spells i think
looks neat
