AMD seems to be doing a great job with their new open source drivers compared to the old shit they used to have. If they can bring some of the new Linux code base over to Windows they could have a real winner on their hands. There's already Polaris support in the upstream Linux kernel and Mesa seems like they're in good shape to have good support on day 1.
