Hanzo's Ult is beastly and Hanzo players are common and usually do well.

Hanzo is meant to be played aggressively. He has better maneuverability and skills than Widow, and close up absolutely dominates her.
I main him and have no problem destroying in most matches, and Widow's are easily my favorite target.
Go for up close head shots. Burst down tanks with spread arrow. Give recon support at every corner with pulse arrow, and clear critical points with ultimate.

Widowmaker is better than Hanzo, but I still pick Hanzo because he's at least fun to play. What's fun about standing in one spot the entire match sniping? At least Hanzo should be moving around constantly. He's also a better tank killer because of the spread arrow.
But yeah widowmaker could need a nerf. More recoil and lower fire rate is all she needs. A sniper should be punished for missing a shot.

They are two completely different characters. Widow is optimal at long range, her assault rifle is shit and won't beat out anyone at close range. Hanzo is meant to be played at mid-range, providing vision in particular areas of the map for his team. He can also kill enemies around corners, and can deal 375 damage with his E.
