Inafune is a visionary genius who had a hand in developing the series since the beginning. He didn't direct 1-3, but even there he had a big hand in them. He designed MM, Zero and the robot masters. Created the X series, then Legends, and the Zero games. If there's anyone who could be said to be the biggest person behind the series, ti's him.
He should be judged by his entire history, not just one misstep. That's why we should give him a second chance. I'm sure MN9-2 is going to be even better.

Who was the producer for MM originally? Most of the early games, all the way to 7 and X3 were produced by Tokuro Fujiwara. And Akira Kitamura directed 1-2, made the characters, story and setting. These guys had WAY more impact that Inafune did.
