Fuck that, Civ6 better have a mechanic where city states start to take pity on the civ thats being attacked or add a war monger function that makes city states get fed up with you if you don't actually do any war related scenario's for a while since they hate warmomongering or some shit. Or make it that spies become more effective in election rigging for the Civ thats being attacked because the civilians pity the ones being harmed or some shit. The worst part is how slow the game becomes because the turns are no longer simultaneous. Also make the city states more effective in wars or something.

I think it's by far the best looking CiV. Crafting something in a style like this takes a lot more effort than just slapping semi-realistic textures on everything and calling it a day. This is the first CiV game with polished graphics.
It also looks a lot more natural, and less confined to hexes.
The argument that CiV shouldn't be this way is bullshit. The leaders were always cartoony caricatures, and the style always had a cartoony slant to it.
In short, the same people that cry about lack of innovation are crying when a minor change is made to their favourite franchise. The consumer doesn't know what it wants and should be largely ignored, as per usual.

The civ themes play when you first start a game or load up one, after that it'll play regional music. Their war themes kick in only war starts and once it finishes it goes into the stock war music until peace is achieved.

The European/North African/Levant map is great, however after Venice takes Catholicism and the Celts take Druidism, it's a race to see who picks what.
The English, if they get it, normally pick Anglicanism which is great, but if someone like Austria or Denmark get it, they always pick a non Christian faith or the stupid Akket-U thing.

Poland is THE best civ in the game. They're so good CBP doesn't even touch them, while buffing every other civ.

Free social policy every age pretty much opens them up to all victory types, and it gives you the edge on your opponents.
They are also the only civ to have a "plains" bias, which is great for earlier growth and production.The Hussar aren't bad either, but their UB is meh.
Best civs are Poland, Egypt, Babylon, Korea, Inca and Arabia. England, Babylon, Shoshone are a close second.

They're overpowered. The only ones who come close are Austria and Babby-lon. Their free social policy passive makes them able to effectively go for any kind of victory and have an easier time achieving it than specialized civs (Except Babylon). Austria is the same with their massive bonus to great person generation and easy modo expansion. The only thing Babby-lon has is science, but it's the best science civ by far and it's par of the course to have great war infantry when every other civ has crossbowmen.
