I played BN1 last year and it was phenomenal.
When I first heard about it back in the early 2000's I didnt wanna like it cus it wasn't a real megaman game
But its gameplay on its own is so good that you can't deny it

We need some games that play like BN, shouldn't be that hard. I remember asking once, but don't remember if anyone gave perfect reasoning, but would it be legally fine to release a game that played like BN? You know, 3x3 panels, 1v1, with special attacks like chips, and all that stuff.

I think it would be fine, as long as the it didn't call the attacks "chips" and there were no "navis" and "operators" because then that would be the same game. But I'm sure someone can find an interesting way to create a BN style game

There is a fan made BN game that is in progress right now, but it has been in progress for years now and they are pretty slow to update since I'm sure they have lives of their own. I played the demo which was short but felt like a very real game. MMBN Chrono X, check it out, I hope it is finished soon so I can have fun with a BN game again
