V was very polarizing.
Heavy multiplayer focus was already going to split the community. The mechanical design as also pretty radical shift, with ACV ACs looking like Front Mission Wanzers. Then you had under the hood changes like splitting damage into 3 types, making boosting a toggle, and limiting vertical flight.
Personally I liked the game, but I didn't like the multiplayer focus and didn't care for the mechanical designs of the ACs themselves.
