2's largest issue was how they dealt with death and it just eradicated all difficulty in the game. But less, very, very open regions over multiple linear ones was a great choice since it lead to there being lots of hidden dungeons and more to explore. The aesthetic over armor direction was also a great one. There's a lot I love about Fable II over Fable I but it's all overshadowed by the lack of difficulty and the final "boss".

Shibuya Productions is the main investor in Shenmue 3. It upsets Cedric the CEO of Shibuya since Sony are getting all the credit while Sony barely provides any funds and are hailed the savior of Shenmue. Sega had a deal with Shibuya before Sony came in. Only good thing about Sony at E3 showing off Shenmue 3 was the large amount of publicity and attention it got.
