A character that interacts with the environment a little more would be nice. Both the art forger and the congressman just walk from one room to the next. There was very little opportunity for environmental kills or anything. Alternatively, give them a little more character, like the main mission targets. Have them involved in something more elaborate, like Novikov trying to pay off the other russian guy in Paris. Just anything that would make them interact with more than just one npc.

I found that it didn't have a laid back feel of sapienza and more of a "Something is going on right now" urgency about it

Not as comfy as Sapienza, but the fact that you have two different locations you must infiltrate (as opposed to one) makes for an interesting level.
HItman isn't much about high-score for me, so elusive targets and railroaded escalation don't interest me much.
My funniest game so far was playing as a chef in Sapienza and only using a throwing knife and pastas to kill everybody in the mansion.
I'm installing the third level as I write this, I'm really excited

currently if you have stacked items ( 4 wrenches for instance) in your inventory and you throw 1 the game will throw all of them

Funnily enough, at least two of them are from Absolution. But in Absolution most group of characters had unique voice actors. Only Steve Blum repeated on two levels.

You probably only find it so hard because it just came out, it'll seem as easy as the others once you've had some time with it. The general in particular is very easy to kill, especially if you have some lethal poison.
This level is kinda annoying to be honest. Half the enemies can see trough your disguise and the path of the targets are very restricted
