The best part of the temple was when each character made it to the end of their portion and both Baltheos and Cyberdwarf were able to resist Cuchulain's temptation, but Barkley immediately folded to Inca gold. The final MJ fight was really neat, I have to admit. Chaos dunk was godly though.

Also worth mentioning is that there are only three different level ranges for enemies. It's not as if it matches your exact level. It's only really a problem with a certain enemy not giving a specific drop when it gets to the third range. As long as you keep yourself below the third threshold, it's fine and you really won't need to think about it unless you're grinding in which case you can always use the card command to keep from gaining exp.

Most likely explanation is Oceiros saw an opportunity to make his fursona a reality and opted to use the baby in frightening fusion experiments with his own body so he could become that weird lizard. What little remained of his sanity did not survive the trip.
Given those cut sound effects Oceiros was likely originally meant to actually be holding Ocelotte and then eat him or some shit halfway through. and it ended up working out really well for the koreans, because all that experience led to lots of those workers going pro and starting their own animation businesses.
Now Korea is becoming the Animation capital of the world (They animate lots of modern Anime's as well) so the costs of outsourcing animation to korea has skyrocketed to a point where nobody does it anymore.
It led to american animation studios resorting to hiring animators in europe and the U,S - all of which mostly animate on flash or similar programs
Hence why modern animation looks like flash animation.
