What I mean is, the MVP of the game will depend on your own preferences. A crappy healer isn't valuable to you when you know you can heal better. In that case, commend the tank, or a really good offense player. Reward the people who do something well that you struggle to do or dislike doing.

The difference is that healers KNOW that they're useless without a team.
They aren't the ones throwing caution to the wind and charging in like a tardo, thinking that because they have a thing that kills people in their hands means they can take out everyone they see and they surely will not gang up and fire back.
They aren't the ones breaking away from a crucial moment to get to a med pack or spawn to heal up their last 5 HP after having three quarters of their health refilled over the duration of their entire trek because it's too hard to realize that your support is doing their job.
They aren't the ones who, behind cover of Reinhardt's shield, will opt to fan the hammer at a Roadhog waddling about across the room rather than the Bastion who is ripping through Reinhardt's shield five feet in front of you.
You're going to have good players and bad players regardless of their role. Offense needs support as much as support needs offense. Remember that an objective-based game is not the same as team deathmatch. The entire point of the game is that everyone benefits from everyone else. This fact is far from lost on support.
If there's a sick Hanzo to commend, no one's saying don't give it to him. But acknowledge a good support when you have one, because they're just as important as anyone else.

The answer to "My teams all refuse to play support but I wanna have fun" questions is to learn to play and love Lucio.
I didn't start out wanting to play him all the time, but I can pick him 9/10 matches because people don't want to play supports and I have a good time.
If someone picks him I'm surprised and will happily go offensive/defense/tank to mix things up.
The best part is that if someone goes healslut you can STILL pick Lucio and be a good net asset to the team! He does solid damage, his speed boost gets you back on point fast, and your AOE heal keeps the Mercy up while letting her worry less about topping people off.

Lucio's AOE heal is awesome when with your group but if you're dealing with harassers like Genji/Tracer/etc or if you see a D.Va get knocked out of her armor turn on the speed boost and CHASE THOSE CUNTS DOWN.
If you see one of your skirmishers dueling a harasser or some annoying shitter who hits and runs- pair up with them and speed boost and run them the fuck down.
Lucio's gun does really solid damage, his knockback is great, and you can run circles around people boosted. I chase down shitter tracers, Zero-suit D.Vas, Mercys, etc. all the time.

Right off the bat. I played a mountain of quake, reflex, cs, tribes ascend, ns2, and cod4 pro mod.
Pharah rockets are like tribes with how fast its projectiles are so I carry hard as her. Quake rockets are way harder to direct and require splashing.
Playing csgo at SMFC level makes widowmaker and mccreed headshots all day ez mode.
I'm never going healer without my stack of friends ever again though. I know 100% I'll lose where if I just go soldier and force our team to do a no healer comp we'll actually have a chance because I can frag the reaper than would have kept killing me while healing.
