It doesn't even make sense at all to have a story like because they must have been so many mediocre prototypes until they got "intelligent" robots like Zenyatta that every idiot human in the world of Overwatch must have gotten used to the fact that toasters get smarter but are still just toasters. Of course when someone like Zenyatta jut appears out of nowhere and you go from Siri to Zenyatta, it would be crazy and women would probably date him. This is not the case, though.
