They are already dead. The peak of vidiya was during the 5-6th generations. Amazing games came both on console and PC. Silent Hill, MGS, Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark,Deus Ex, Thief, Beyond Good and Evil, the Timespitters franchise, Okami, XIII, Prince of Persia:The Sands of Time, Wind Waker, DMC, God of War 1%2. So many amazing games. What did we have in the 7th gen? Bioshock? I mean, there were some neat games like Vanquish and Enslaved but nowhere near as many as before. Now let's look at the 8th gen. We are three years in and the "no gaems" meme is kinda true. All three consoles suck ass and they are getting replaced this year or in 2017. PC is getting horrible ports altough things are not as bad as the 7th gen and Steam has some awesome exclsives. Honestly, vidiya is dead. It became even more casual and dumb.
At this point, vidya... much like society, is dead/dying.
It's time to kick back and watch it go up in smoke.
