My sister got involved with a group of several guys, jumped around them, they started getting competitive with her and protective, being duplicitous with each other and ultimately, their who group - a group of very good 'bros' - fell apart... and she never chose any of them either kek.
Likewise, my friend's gf joined his group of stoner pals, she flirted with and fucked them all for about a year or so but eventually chose my friend - this the lead the rest of the guys to hatch a plan to remove my friend from the group by accusing him of stealing from them.

This is me, I don't talk at all in raids because I don't see the point if you aren't the raid leader.
I remember one time we spent like 3 days wiping on heroic dark shamans because the fucking shit resto shaman healer wouldn't spec into nature resistance or use his high mana cost spells (while claiming he never needed mana tide) and kept getting tombed because he was a useless waste of space.
I yelled at him for so long he quit the guild, I felt bad after I'm actually a pretty patient quiet guy but he was so much of a shitter.
I've not had a really huge blowout since because we remade the guild and dropped the shit players.

Its hard to explain how seriously people took shit in this game, and it was the moment I took a step back and thought "what the fuck are we doing this is supposed to be just be a fun game", I felt fucking horrible and have never forgotten since.
This isn't quite OP, related, but its on a similar level. I just felt I needed to share it because I haven't before, I still feel the guilt from basically making someone cry over the most pointlessly trivial RP shit that is only supposed to be there to be enjoyed. I'd say the same happens way too much in things like WoW guilds, if not RP but more "conform to how we do things or be ostracized" when really, all guilds should be doing is making the experience as fun for everyone (on average, since you can't please everyone) as possible.

I just felt bad I didn't fucking roleplay it out or something. The amount of butthurt on all sides was pretty big. I was usually the quiet one in my guild. People came to me for advice on builds, boss tactics since I played WoW as the main warrior tank for a guild that was doing heroic 10 man wotlk dungeons full clear every week. At the time I was 18? I think. Anyhow at this same time I worked a real shit job.
