I get the delusion that people think they play better when high. I mean it definitely feels that way, only there's no indication later when you're sober so people generally never realize how badly they were actually doing.

Not better, just calmer. Easier to settle, get a grip on the game, etc. Lowers adrenaline too which can also affect play. Especially if you're the jumpy type
