that's why it is better. you have to think about your actions instead of just following a rotation. I've raided at heroic/savage difficulty for each mmo, and WoW's combat is mostly sticking to a rotation without any variation. You can pretty much create macros and get near optimal dps.
I have FF14 on PC and can emulate Odin Sphere.
If FFXV comes to PC, I'll probably play it. It looks fun, but not really what I want out of a Final Fantasy game.

You need to play them to appreciate them. Japanese games are some of the most deep and satisfying games to play. Just play Monster Hunter, DMC, Fire Emblem or whatever and you'll know. FF is actually fairly mundane compared to the crazy shit other devs pull.

I can get Odin sphere on my vita and have zero interest in the other games. So no. All the PS4 has is bloodborne and that's not worth a mediocre console alone.
