Really boring and bland.
The caving to internet feminists and making a male/female protagonist killed the only thing Assassins Creed had going for it, an enjoyable narrative and main character.
Yeah its fun as fuck. I really enjoyed it. Looks beautiful too. One of the few games I would call next gen. The story is quite cool too.

Only on sale, game is pretty fucking tedious and the writing is abysmal.
Then again the final boss being some dude wearing the Shroud of Turin firing lasers out of his hands was pretty fucking funny.
Watch Ripper Street instead.
