3 times less performance for gimmicky shit isnt worth it
you can have dynamic lightning on objects affected by physics or particle effect etc but ambient scene should be baked
They need to build some kind of hybrid engine for Just In Time baking for openworld game, or precompute all the possible lightmaps and cycle them with your daylight cycle
