At pointblank right click->melee->dash does 205 damage in half a second. Each shuriken does 35 damage (from both left & right click), swift strike does 50, melee does 30, and you have deflect as well.

If the Genji is smart he'll save his deflect, forcing the Bastion to either wait for him to close in or to try and bait it out - both of which work in Genji's favour, as deflectong even half a second of fire will halve Bastion's HP.

I always keep throwing shuriken since I usually approach from a point he's not aiming. He'll look at me and won't shoot anticipating the reflect. When he starts shooting I'll reflect and combined with the damage from the prior shuriken he's dead. A good bastion would just move

Genji has less hp than bastion, making the fight entirely unwinnable for him.
with two equally-skilled players (who both have no team for some reason), bastion just has to start shooting until he hears the reflect, then shoot again when it's over. It takes much longer for bastion to kill himself than for him to kill genji.

i've seen a_seagull wreck shit with bastion on stream. he spent alot of time re positioning himself which is where most bastions fail. they simply just choose a spot and turret up until they die and repeat

You're completely ignoring genji's mobility and the fact that in any game he'll be able to approach bastion land numerous shuriken before he's spotted. At which point the genji keeps peppering if the bastion isn't shooting and reflects if he is.
