It's obviously just a rushed budget title meant solely to milk the DW8 assets bone dry before DW9 rolls around.
DW is such a fucking mess now. Most of the new characters are just not consistent with the vast majority of the designs from the older games when they actually tried to make them look like stylized capable warriors instead of Final Fantasy rejects.
