They won, right?
>>
Consumers won
>>
Just like Star Force won a decade ago?
>>
For now maybe
You can't stop the pirate, only delay them for a while
>>
>>339248198
This, it will surely be cracked. Hell several denuvo games can already be pirated.

Its only a matter of time.

W10 store drm is what people should really be worried about. Ill take Denuvo over that shit any day.
>>
>>339247889
The moment the game that has denuvo didn't cracked at the same week as it's release, they won.
>>
>>339247889

Since the majority of game purchases are made within the first few weeks and this has more or less eliminated that then yeah they won.

Yes, it'll be cracked sooner or later but by that time, it'll be on sale so it won't make a difference.

Demand fuels innovation.

>W10 store drm

I sure care for those 5 games being exclusive on the store.
>>

>Since the majority of game purchases are made within the first few weeks and this has more or less eliminated that then yeah they won.
how come then that no denuvo games so far aside for overhyped stuff like d44m got meaningful sales and are almost forgotten? most people don't even know which games use denuvo aside from big names like msgV and the likes
>>
>>339247889
Yeah, piracy has died for the 20th time.
>>
>>339249393
>Buying something on sale isn't different from pirating something for free
alright
>>
I would've bought Doom, if it didn't have Denuvo.

i think he means it like a projection. It's just 5 games for now. It will be more in the future.

why else microshit would try so hard to close as many people as possible inside w10? they even crippled dx9 games on w10 to push the dx12 new meme.
>>
I fucking hate w10

I think the point is that people DO pirate games before buying them, and while it was considered a myth, Denuvo just proved that.

Even random plebs don't like W10.
>>
well they made me cave in and buy warhammer that I would have pirated otherwise so I guess they won that one
>>
>>339250504
in a world where you work 40 hours a week for $1,300 a month only having 8 days of free time you will not spend $60 on a fotm videogame that, from childhood experience, could turn out to be 6 hours of time killing bullshit. Keep in mind that you need that money for essential bills like transport, communications, and food which doesn't sound like much but in the US it'll take 60% of your paycheck. At that payrate forget about living on your own much less having the liquid cash to burn on shit fotm games. On the other hand you could always pirate, like the game, hype it to the point where you need to play multi, and generate sales from word of mouth, and buy it without feeling the wallet burn. Either way I'm a NEET who only play f2p games that sell hats.
>>
>>339250734
I like it

i red some articles about 2 days ago on /g/. They were discussing about the fact that some users noticed that, while on windows 7 the games were running perfectly (dx9 games) on w8 and 10 popped up an update that tampered with them slowing the performance in a noticeable manner.
>>
>>339250961

or you could stop wasting time on video games and start considering options to earn more than $1300 a month

just a thought
but who am I kidding you can't separate yourself from the PC am I right
>>
>>339250912
LOL I'm a huge TW fan and a Warhammer mod for it gave me boners. Still not gonna risk paying 60% of $100 for a game that might be developed poorly.

Well, they managed to meme developers into paying their protection money for no noticeable increase in sales, so it seems they've won.
>>
>Upgrade to windows 10
>Ethernet adapter stops working
>Skype doesn't size to the screen properly
>Youtbe videos constantly stutter / lag
>Games take twice as long to boot up

Windows 10 looks cool in my opinion and I like the way it works, unfortunately it's such a buggy piece of shit that you literally can't use it for anything but casual PC use like quickly checking a facebook or twitter account.

Needless to say I downgraded back to 8.1 within day 1
>>
>>339251080
$1300 is what you'll earn in the US if you only have a highschool diploma and common intelligence/talent.
>>
>>339251083
it's pretty great, the multiplayer is good and balanced okay (for the first time ever in a TW game) but not really worth $60
wait for a sale, that's my advice
>>
>>339251273
this. the only reason i haven't upgraded yet is because windows 10 is just fucking bugged, nothing works properly
>>
>>339250441
Those numbers don't look bad.

Compare those sales to similar(same genre and review scores) non-Denuvo titles. Doubt it'll be any different.
>>
They're definitely helping me win against my backlog.
>>
>>339251332
>non-Denuvo titles
At least sell over 1 million.
>>
>>339247889
>want to play d44m but cant
I'd say they won. Still wont buy it.
