I spent most of my time in Nutty Acres in the game, I thought the rest of the areas were pretty shite (sans Banjoland, I did my fair share of sightseeing.) I liked building the vehicles and going online and bumping into other monstrous contraptions.
It was okay, I didn't vehemently despise it. If it wasn't Banjo-Kazooie and it didn't have garbage level design they could have made an alright IP out of it.

Although I did get more enjoyment out of making the stupid stuff, like a seat with only springs attached or a pile of shit with jets facing upward only to self-destruct. Physics could've have been better for stuff like that though.

Call it an exaggeration but don't even pretend like they basically didn't advertise it with a hefty load of makeovers and actually paid attention primarily to the game's issues. They didn't even do it nearly as much for 4SE, and somehow along the way managed to make Dante worse when all they had to do was not touch him period.

You realize it's because dmc4 is actually a solid game while the glitches from the dmc:dmc demo were in the final game on release and for some time after release. Dmc:dmc was a fundementally broken game, not only just on release, but for quite some time afterward. The definitive edition is how the game should have shipped. Dmc4 didn't even come close to having a quarter of problems like that turd did.

Yes, and I enjoyed it. Not on the level of the first two games, but exploring the hub is fun and ties into getting parts, making weird shit is fun, vehicle creation is a simple process which I feel people don't give the game enough credit for, and the writing and atmosphere are on point. Only issue with the game I had was it could've used more mission variety, though some missions are really fun to break.

Two things about Jontron, one, when he streamed the original, he sucked shit, said the game wasn't as good as he remembered, and cheated to beat it. Two, in Nuts & Bolts, any footage he has doesn't even show beyond the first level which tells me he honestly didn't even give the game a chance.

I played it ages ago, and I'm not sure if I dreamt about it or it was actually in the game, but I recall there was a level with the game discs of the games that Rare made for MS and if you looked closely there were depressing messages from the developers written along the edges of the discs, such as how Viva Pinata was a mistake and stuff like that.
