I genuinely miss this game. So much fun.
Some of the Alps and Andes courses were fucking nightmarish.
SSX is okay, but GOAT snowboarding game is 1080 Avalanche on Gamecube. If it just had more multiplayer tracks it'd be fucking perfect.
It's got easily the most fun engine. SSX was actually difficult to not win. I fell off my board maybe twice through the whole of 2012.
If Nintendo were to make a sequel I'd buy it day 1, but because Project HAMMER basically destroyed NST, we'll probably never see one.

It really comes down to what you're in the mood for. I'd say 1080 leans more on the racing side of things of snowboarding, while SSX has more emphases on crazy tricks side.

Yeah you're absolutely right. The tricks you throw in SSX are pretty cool, but it got to the point where you could just mash anything and it'd be a good trick.
Still, more snowboarding games would be nice. Particularly local multiplayer.
