Dhalsim dance win in SFII scared me.
Bowser zooming in on the flying thing in SMW last stage scared me.
Bart's snore in bart's nightmare scarred me.
The trees in MK scared me.

I remember watching all of the show, but I never got around to the game. I just assumed it would be a bad anime game.

The black monster things in Ico used to be terrifying when I was a kid. Still probably are.

It's so fun. It's the sort of game where you can tell the devs put their heart into it. There's loads of neat little references to the show.
The game play itself is also great. It's stealth based and involves stealing the soul of the 12 guests.
The more souls you have, the more enemies you've made, and the more intense and dangerous the hallways become.
Even though it's clearly very cartoony and a humorous there is a real horror element in that you're totally defenseless and the entire game is very dark. Going around a corner is always a very tense thing and getting spotted means you''' be on a chicken run until you can hide in a wardrobe or the one store room.
tldr it's really fun.
