Well, for one it was the only 24/7 video games channel a lot of people had access to. Second, a bit of nostalgia is at play here as we tend to forget the bad stuff. I agree that if g4 was still up and was exactly the same we probably wouldn't like it as much, but it had its place in time

those techtv shows were good. i liked g4tv.com and arena got me into some games. icons was cool too. honestly things started falling apart when brendan and sarah legt aots and olivia and that black guy (will?) replaced them. olivia wasnt really bad but she definitely marked the downfall since they started running notjing but cops around that time. if they had done lets plays a fightan tournamets along with those good shows i would still be watching
