Ultimates are alright, its the broken base skills that are the problem. For example Junkrat is broken on every level and I cant believe that they didnt fix him on release, that nigga is so OP that you can win a match all on your own with that assmaster. He is also the reason why me and my friends moved back to other games that are atleast balanced.
Also the hitscan weapons are fucking annoying, no wonder they use those because of that shitty console-tier tickrate. I get "headshots" with widowmaker all the time and none of them feel deserved. If I'm playing Junkrat and a halfway decent player goes Pharah I'm often forced to switch. Too difficult to defend yourself from her.

Most of the ults can be prevented with small amount of damage or by using skills. bot,high noon and justice for example can be stopped with shields or defence matrixes. Hell,even genji works.

They can't if they're dead. Genji is more mobile than Tracer in a group of weakened enemies, even more so with his ult.
He's basically a character designed around killstealing. His quickly ends fights that your teammates were probably going to win anyway, but you made it so that it's already over and you can focus on objectives.

I feel almost like blizzard gave several groups of people each a character to make and didn't let them talk to eachother. So you have these cluster fucks of balance that overlap, or don't have counters.
Like take Symmetra, she can't do a thing another class can'd do better. Trobs turrets are stronger and do more DPS, lol25hpshield instead of healing yet classed as support, her gun is a pissbabby version of Winston's. The only thing that she has going for her is a teleporter but it's an ult and always gets destroyed really fast. The maps are usually to small for it to be effective anyways.
Mei on the other hand does things other classes can do BETTER than she should be able to for being a 'jack of all trades'.

Soldier, McCree, and Pharah either need to be focused down quickly or avoided. Especially Pharah as her ult is generally too quick to hid from but she's perfectly still while in the air meaning you can get easy headshots meaning snipers can kill her quickly if they're good. Also if you have a Roadhog on your team he can just hook her and interrupt it.

McCree and Lucio are OP as fuck in competitive play, and there's at least one on each team in every game, with 3 McCree 2 Lucio comps not being unheard of. In the case of Lucio it has more to do with a lack of alternatives though, considering that there are only two pure supports. Yes, if you go 3v1 then you will win. Now try breaking 3 rotating shields from Reinhardt as Widows. And again you can just fly up to Widows face with Dva without any risk and just blast her. I really enjoy team based stuff and have thousands of hours on Battlefield games, TF2 and Rocket League, but this game? Played it for 30 minutes and that was all I could take.
HOLY FUCK, the boredom. The entire game feels like plastic, there's no real scoreboard so shitters don't get their shitter feelings hurt and it no matter if you shoot at somebody directly or where he was standing a second ago, you still get the hit.
The only redeeming factor about the game is the porn we get out of it, which is ironic because Blizz went full concerned SJW mode because of a female butt in spandex, but that's a different story.
Most dumbed down game I had the misfortune of playing in a long time, but if that's what blizzdrones want, I guess that's what they get.

People use ults on singular targets they consider an ABSOLUTE threat.
Most of the damage dealers in this game when they see a Mei approach them its a guaranteed loss id say that only Pharah and widowmaker can deal with her and even then when a Mei can actually aim Alt fire she can kill them.
Basically a good Mei is the dirge or every damage dealing character in the game.

You're using it wrong. Your strength as a tank is in not getting completely nuked by one character, and then retreating to heal. Use it to push people off of a point and break them up from cover, or target and cause chaos to maybe 1-3 squishies in a room.
