In the beta, to l. 32, I got like 1800 currencies, 5-6legendary skins, some really good,plenty of the 250skins.
Now I have 2 legendary skins, Mei and jackal for Pharaoh (both good ,but i don't use Mei). I have earned around 800 currencies. The worst offender is the amount of player icons I've gotten. I honestly think that every third box I've owned have been a blue player icon. And so many duplicates.

I mean from a straight gameplay standpoint regardless of Heroes.
The only counter to a widow is another widow, she hard counters flanks with ult, and soft counters flanks by blowing whomever tries it the fuck up.
Her Ult is probably the best "Support" Ult in the game that benefits herself and the entire team regardless of her location.
She basically enforces a Meta for tanks with protective shields because flank plays won't work and she can 1 shot anyone that isn't hiding behind a tank.
Not particularly fun to play and not fun to play against. Hanzo is literally what a balanced Widowmaker would be.

I'm level 29, so I've opened 29 boxes I guess, gotten 4 legendary skins, Junker D.Va, Raptorion Pharah, Sparrow Genji and Valkyrie Mercy, pretty content with that. Only complaint is I seem to get a lot of duplicates, I've amassed 2k gold without ever getting even a pink coin stash.

Does Zarya need a shield buff?
I swear that it just gives people false confidence and I can't really do tanky shit with it. I get it's used to buff her grenade and shit, but I can't even farm damage off of an ult like death blossom or justice rocketsor an all bastion team
So since D.Va seems to be the focus here, anybody care to help me figure her out? I've got a pretty good feel for most characters' "thing", what they do best, where they should be on a team, but not her. Her jet doesn't pin like Reinhardt's, her Defense Matrix doesn't last long, and her damage dropoff is huge. She kind of feels like a jack of all trades, master of none.

I feel like the emphasis on Zarya is too much on gaining charge and not enough on tanking. She honestly feels more like an offense character for me. She can't soak up damage like the other tanks and has to hop out of battle to recharge her shields, letting her charge deplete in the process. Her skills will only keep her safe 5% of the time, and she can only protect one of her teammates at a time. That said, she's DEVASTATING when used properly, but she just does not feel like a real tank. Also

I like to ambush stragglers at the back of the enemy pack especially heroes with ass mobility like hanzo. Alternatively I make a dive for their healer and blow them up before I get ejected I usually wait till they are confronting my team to do this so they can't just gib the suit with 6man spam.

It's almost certainly exactly the same as hearthstone. Each case has a 1/20 chance of having an orange item. However there's no true rng involved past 40 crates because you get a pity legendary item if you manage to make it to 40 in a row without one.
They perfected the formula (evidence being its massive commercial success) there so there's no reason not to reuse it.
Most of the skins suck anyways.
