Do lots of side quests and level up your weapon skills, some of the earlier dungeons can be very difficult for low level characters.

Good weapons and armor can usually be bought from traders, or found in certain places, rather than to be picked off the corpses of bandits.
And then learn some basic spells to heal yourself.

Also, never steal from traders, it'll come and bite you in the ass later.

If you dont know how to use MGE Install MGSO since it does everything for you and has more graphics options.

Remember to not set distant land draw distance past 30 if you're using other graphics options such as HDDR or Ambient Occlusion because your FPS will be garbage even on an high end computer
