I played skyrim with a survival mod that required me to shit and bath my character. It could only be improved by diarrhea and taking medicine to cure it but the dev never came through when I asked. Unless there is an RPG that fully immerses you like this I will never be satisfied with the genre.

Anyone played Age Of Decadence or Torment: Tides of Numenera? I have them in my backlog, was thinking about acquiring one of them.

It's at least an action game with RPG elements, but I'd call it an ARPG. The lines are kind of becoming blurred with how much devs are now focusing on the action part.
Mostly the reason I still call it an ARPG is because the first two were definitely ARPGs.

I'm 99% sure Torment is only in beta for KS backers. It supposedly has a couple of "SJW" elements but I only heard that from /v/ and you know you have to take everything here with a grain of salt.
Ultima was good at having a very detailed sandbox world to interact with but it's mechanics were never terribly interesting.
WRPGs from the start have just been more about adventure and exploring moreso than tactics, it's not surprising they all became glorified action games.

Those four games are being made by three devs that make good RPGs. People hope they will be good and if they are successful it means more RPGs of that variety. You can use any of those games as a conversation starter, like "has anyone played the Underworld pre-alpha?" or "I want to fuck Emily", whatever.

Underworld is a spiritual successor of Ultima Underworld, got kickstarted last year and there's a demo out. Made by a lot of the original LGS employees. SS3 is being directed by Warren Spector and I think they plan to kickstart that.
Dishonored is definitely an RPG, you've got a ton of choice in how you want to do something like in a tabletop RPG and there's a dialogue system and skill trees.
