I don't think V is oversaturated in any way. Not sure what you mean with the last part, I think the on foot movement is still just as clunky, they've used that engine in like five games and it still feels so heavy and shit to walk around

No wonder that todd howard loves this game
Successfully combining driving and on-foot combat in a 3D game, that is to say not making one or both aspects suck. Of course, the huge map, the violence, the missions and the humor did help a lot, but mixing both mechanics and making both work was crucial.

This, I know a lot of people would disagree but I still think Liberty City is the best GTA environment especially with its soundtrack (though VC has the best soundtrack hands down).

Nothing at all. It was fantastic, and the multiplayer is regularly updated with major free updates, with another on the way. The only people who complain are the ones that weren't in early and didn't make 500,000,000,000 GTABUX when it was easy to cheat.

This game is extremely impressive for it's age. Also best theme in the franchise.
It was simple.
Every game past GTA 3 just overcomplicated things. I want a game where I can drive around and shoot at shit for a while, not a game where I grind the same heist for hours and hours to hopefully make enough money for whatever flashy new supercar R* added in the new update.

This. There hasn't and won't be another GTA with an atmosphere like it. Everything is too realistic now and the reason GTA3 ended up like it did was because the series was green.
IV was interesting and amazing how they fleshed Liberty City out, but to compare to two cities beyond their name is ridiculous.
