Yesterday I saw someone streaming what looked like the PS3 version. It looked pretty much the same as the PS3 version of Sign. I couldn't tell if it had the new lighting effects or not, because the stream itself was pretty low quality. I'll be getting the PS3 version myself. As long as its framerate doesn't dip below 60fps I'll be satisfied.

Is GG as fun as SF? I picked up SF for the first time with V and loving it so far as a beginner. I have never played GG but can't help but notice it being mentioned in the fighting community.

Its faster, a lot more room for creativity and a lot more hype to watch. The drawback is its harder to get into, and definitely a lot more niche and suffers from delayed releases, like the west is always 1 game delayed from japanese arcades so theres less appeal to fully commit.
Though in Xrd, theyre less trigger happy about balancing, so you dont have to relearn your character every new game, and theyre shortening the gap between countries

Couple of questions.
1. How hard will I be blown up transitioning from BB to GG? I still have every intention of playing BBCF when it comes out on console but I was thinking to start playing revelator to fill the gap until it releases.
2. How good is Jack-O? I really don't watch GG vids but I do see some here and there once in a while and the latest one I saw was a set between two pro players - A jack-o and a chipp and it seems that throughout the entire set either Jack-O dominated or the dude got blown up so it was hard for me to tell.

The execution barrier and FRCs scared newcomers from trying later XX games, but you are going to get smoked in BB without very long optimal combos and it has almost double the characters to learn at this point.

BB is harder to get into though. Unlike GG that gives you the freedom to do whatever with fast meter gain, huge damage off short-mid combos, its relatively easy to get into.
Compare to BB where the tech roll system makes okizeme a bit harder to execute, and you need to do optimum combos to do significant damage, as well as studying every character gimmicks, not to mention multiple spastic balance changes makes BB harder to get into, but not in a good way
Blazblue is awful in general. I'm amazed nobody put up with it now that Guilty Gear's back. Makes me believe in genocide

What makes Lily, Birthday Train, Storyteller, Coming Home, Does the Sheep Count the Sheep, or Icarus any less deserving of being on the same merit as the X2 soundtrack overall?
X2's problem was that from a composition perspective, most of the songs repeat their notes way too carefree, but manage to patch it up by making it sound good. Xrd's instrumentals for the most part take the opposite direction, but forget to string the notes together in a way that channel the song's energy smoothly.
The Xrd songs I listed remove the general issues from both soundtracks (minus Bedman's theme but it still might as well have come out from X2). So how in the hell are they any more "throwaway" than Heavy Day, which is responsible for precisely the same positives?

To be fair, when they translated X and XX, they didn't translate this tick. They just had her dialog as normal. Which for understanding what she is saying, is understandable. But for keeping the fighting game tradition of stereotypes, it's rather disappointing.

I'll be perfectly honest it sucks to lose your main in any fighter, but Guilty Gear is probably one of the worst. The amount of time I put into Slayer exclusively and to think if he wasn't in the next version I would pretty much be completely lost. People put a lot of time into their GG mains which is why I can actually understand why someone wouldn't want to get the game until they're added back. I probably would have gotten Xrd still, but I know I would have put in WAY less time into it if Slayer wasn't in the game.
