I have Rescue Mei, Devil Mercy, Young Genji, the red spikey armor Reinhardt, and got Explorer Winston about an hour ago.

Been playing since it came live, managed to get Blackbeard Toblerone and Ifrit Zenyatta straight out of chests. With coins from chests though, I've gotten the Bundeswehr Reinhardt and Carbon Fiber D.Va (alongside miscellaneous 75 coin-cost skins for characters).
I've been pretty fortunate with it all, honestly. Quite happy about it too, especially since I got a Protoss icon and I main Protoss in Starcraft.
First lootbox after my very first game I got a legendary. Have only seen one skin since and it was a the orange Symmetra recolor.

Rank 16, only legendary I've gotten is Genji's Sparrow skin. It's not bad, but it definitely wasn't on my radar.
Not legendary, but I did get D.va's carbon fiber skin, which I think is her best. I like the mech and suit design on Junebug, but the hair is just so awful it ruins the skin for me.
Once I reach 1000 overbucks, I'm probably getting either Mechaqueen for Pharah or one of Mercy's demon skins.

Difference is Blizzard doesn't care about the "artstyle theme" right from the get-go, similar to the skins found in HotS. They just want fun content.
Compare this to what TF2 did, which was a shame since the art team dedicated so much time to silhouettes, color, contrast, etc. All that down the drain with the inclusion of funny hats and items that don't fit the character, or heavily ruin the shape/colors/etc. Painted Lime Green clown shoes anyone?
Even DOTA2 has been criticized for this, since they have included some bizarre cosmetics that clearly go against what they wanted.
The other huge issue with TF2 is the economy, trading and all the bullshit that is included. Basically created a separate game within the game.

Lucio is super hard to kill which makes him great for distracting enemies. If you keep speed boost on until one of your teammates starts getting low on health you can zip around at sanic speed. The extra speed boost for other classes is a godsend too. Sped up reinhardt is scary to encounter.
His primary fire is great for zoning and the huge hurtbox on them make it easy to land too. The alt fire is great for splitting up mercys from their pockets or knocking assholes off of cliffs.
