Mercy is pretty great if you have a strong character to give preferential treatment to. Me and my friend as a pharah do a great job, attack boosted direct rockets can take out many classes easily and pharah gives mercy a lot of mobility. Also I still try to keep the team alive, but I prioritize my friend.

I was a medic main in TF2 and I played her a lot in free weekend, while also playing Lucio. Mercy's main problems are that she is more specilised, needs more team coordination and no one uses her damage boat properly. Lucio is good all around and his ult can be dropped in the middle of the fight, the other thing that he is second ONLY hero who can speed up your allies to the objective. His heal can't compare to Mercy's tho, even when boosted it is for patching up someone, not form making him tank damage. The other thing is that Mercy's damage boost is something no one uses, but something that can destroy enemy, slap it on bastion of junkrat and you rip enemy apart.
The only thing that is unbearably horrible about Mercy is her ult, it's good, but it's so boring unlike ubercharge.

Don't know, I'm level 22 so not that far in I guess but usually I use her boosts to flank people, pick off weaklings by surprise like Widowmaker, Zanyetta, Mercy, etc. Squishies usually get really surprised and freak out making it an easy kill. I'd say my worst enemies are Soldier 76 with his heal, and Tracer with her crazy mobility. Her block, if used well, can really help your team in a fight. The thrusters are such a good get out, they've saved me so many times. I usually only play her when there's another main tank, she's not really a tank at all. Use her ult intelligently and you can win games, I got a 4 kill with it earlier today to win a Payload game.

Mercy is more like the Medic from TF2. You just focus on whoever has the biggest gun and follow them around. For example, a Mercy and Reinhardt combo is pretty good. Reinhardt is pretty strong but he usually dies if he's attacked first since he can't swing his hammer fast enough. Mercy's healing is great enough to keep him alive.

If you're up close and hitting most of your pellets she's got like a 150 DPS. Roadhog can instant kill people easier up close but he's only got the 4 slower firing shots, instead of unlimited DPS. But overall she's better for being a distruptor/distraction and finishing off people who are already weak or weakning people.
Really she's the middle ground inbetween of Winston and Roadhog. Better mobility for distrupting people than Roadhog, with a much better DPS in ideal circumstances then Winston, but lower than Roadhog and she has to aim and be a slow target unlike Winston.
Lucio is better than Mercy in almost every situation, deal with it. If you're going to be a healslut, at least be a useful healslut.
Also if you ever pick Mercy over Lucio on KOTH you deserve to be executed.

D.Va is a beefy Harasser. She can get behind enemy lines fairly easy, has a good chance at dropping a support or unaware offense, then throwing up Defense Matrix and escaping before they can punish her.

Lucio is most likely better for pubs since you don't have to do anything but run around and hit E every now and then but if your team isn't taking any damage (I.e. Behind a shield) that's all wasted. That's what the damage buff is for. They can't do damage when they're dead.
Mercy is a superior character when your team isn't all taking damage at once because you have a competent tank, a chokepoint, or another healer.

Gold means you were the best member in your team at that task, Silver means second, Bronze means third. If you got no medal, you were fourth or worse.
