Razer have improved somewhat, the deathadder is one of the best mice out there, if you get one that doesn't break; they are among the most ergonomic mice out there yet the buttons keep breaking and the wheels keep dying.
Headsets have solid sound but are not ergonomic. keyboards are pretty solid and have nice switches.
It's like how madcatz gained the meme status they have by shitting out the stupidest shit you've ever seen.
