yes you are correct hotels do have APs all around the hotel and they are all connected to a server and that server is managed by the guest network. The guest network does not work for the ISP. All the website will see is an IP address of the person using the site. So if the FBI wants to GO AFTER SOMEBODY for having a discussion about Crime. They will have to send an investigator to the ISP. The ISP will tell them the guest internet provider controls the internal network. The investigator will have to get with the guest internet people. The guest internet people will have to pull up logs IF THEY have logs and they will see at most the internal IP address I used and the host name of my computer.
