"Microsoft has two new Xbox consoles on the horizon, according to reports on Kotaku that Polygon has corroborated with its own sources. Those sources also told Polygon that one of those new consoles will be over four times more powerful than the current Xbox One and that the announcement at E3 was triggered by, among other things, a faster-than-expected timeline for Sony’s own upgraded PlayStation 4. The other console, a slimmed-down version of the current hardware, will also be getting a redesigned controller.
The latter is scheduled to be revealed at E3 or at an event shortly before, as plans are currently in discussion. Tom Warren at Polygon sister site The Verge reports that the console will be "40 percent smaller than the current model and will likely include 4K support," which will be for video content specifically, though the existing Xbox One models include scaling hardware to output games at various resolutions. Our sources also confirm that this will be the smallest Xbox ever made.
Current plans have the smaller Xbox One scheduled for release this August. Pricing for the system has not been finalized.
The other console, codenamed Scorpio, is unlikely to be released until late 2017, according to Polygon's sources. It will likely be announced in the next month, though plans are somewhat in flux. Like the all-but-confirmed PS4 "Neo," Scorpio represents an evolution of console generations, one that straddles the line somewhat between an entirely new installment of the Xbox platform and a continuation of the existing Xbox One."

Yes, anon, I have. I've used the 3D because my friend and cousin have the system. Most people just don't give a shit about the 3D. Both of them have the system and still turn it off most of the time because it's still less reliable and comfortable than just playing without the 3D.

Getting a new one to sync up with an Xbone almost never fucking works and after you've actually managed to do this, to get even basic functionality on the controller you have to navigate through a bunch of hidden options and download a fucking update for the controller.
It's loading times are fucking absurd. Especially after you turn it on. Enjoy that blindingly bright puke green screen for 2-5 minutes.
They throttle download speeds then purposely don't tell you how fast you are downloading or how long a download will take.
God fucking help you if you have to install a game and it needs a patch at the same time because that shit can take an entire fucking day.

Other than the Xbone refusing to sync with new controllers (and then the hidden update any new controller requires to have full functionality on the Xbone), the controllers are really poor quality.
The design isn't bad, but the build quality is so fucking cheap. It's rare to run into a standard Xbone controller that doesn't have some kind of quality issue with it. Most are small though (like triggers that click when pressed), but they've got problems like 99% of the time.

How come consoles don't turn off easily anymore? It's a pet peeve i know but it's peeves me really hard.
I press the power button on my 3ds and it goes "wait... are you sure?" then takes like 12 seconds to fully turn off when the DSi seemed perfect to me. Press power button goes to menu, hold it and it turns of instantly after one second to make sure you dont want to go to the menu, you have to hold that button for like 5 or 6 seconds before the 3ds goes "oh shit maybe he's serious"
Home consoles are even worse. The sp4 doesn't even have a button anymore and a fiddly little gap that is too small to make out whether it's the power or eject button so you just have to learn which one is which eventually and when you hit it it puts the console into sleep mode with no option to make it properly shut down, the only way to shut the console down is to hold down the home button on the controller to open up the menu, open the power menu and select power off. And you better not tell the console to turn off when it doesn't want to, it will alert you that it is not in the mood to be turned off with a shrill beeping to train you to be more humble with your commands like the peasant you are.

KZ, only in singleplayer, it suffers terribly in multiplayer as far as resolution is concerned, and that's the main backbone of a game such as KZ.
InFamous while at 1080p, runs anywhere from 15-30fps, I've never once seen it run at 60fps in any way.
There are plenty of games that do a weird upscaling for whatever reason, the PS4 is certainly capable of it compared to the One, and it's mostly for games to reach a more stable 50-60fps.
Now imagine a 4k machine, the thing might be chugging along at 5-10fps at best, there would be no way for these machines to realistic do 4k. Even then the Wii U can run a few games at 1080p, which says a lot about the Xbone honestly.

Not him, but it's only for Xbox One with the 1080p during cutscenes/title, with all versions having some serious issues that needed to be patched quite quickly, more so on the consoles due to their hardware.
As for the other thing, I've had InFamous drop down to around 17-18fps at times, it's a bit jarring, it didn't happen often, but it did happen at times. As for the reason for capped FPS, consoles just can't run 1080/60 at the same time. It's either drop it to 720/900 upscaled to try and reach 60 and even then it will dip, or just go for 1080/30, which again, even that will dip depending on the game. Consoles just aren't up to snuff and it's more about a game looking prettier than it is actually running smoothly, which is why that's a thing. Very few games require 60fps and mostly it's fighting games where it's a necessity and online FPS games. The better looking console games get, the worst performance they're going to have, which is sad and means they're eventually going to have to try and work both out for optimal performance, which realistically shouldn't be a problem these days at 1080p, I don't particularly see why it is, it'd still be affordable with ease.

Not in my case. I play some of the exclusives, and I don't care if Halo, Gears, Forza, etc. are also on PC. I don't want to deal with building a PC, and if I don't then a gaming PC that's prebuilt is going to cost an arm and a hand. PS2 was the Wii of its gen. A shit load of games, mostly shovelware, but a good handful of classics and great games, and it was popular thanks to having a gimmick (DVD player and motion controls) while being cheap.
Only difference is Sony made the PS2 so its the best thing ever and has a million perfect games, and Nintendo made the Wii so its a casual piece of shit for babies and weenies with nothing but shovelware

It's probbaly not really a replacement for the existing consoles, but 4k versions of the same thing. So a game could run at native 4k on the updated ps4/xbone, but on the original console it would run at 1080p.

Before I upgraded to something worth a damned (pic related), I got a launch PS4 mainly because it was easy to throw $20-$40 in my savings account until the pre-order guarantee date and reserve a system for launch.
Launch wasn't THAT far back: Barely two and a half years. That's an okay cycle for hardware upgrades where I can swap out individual components, but that's absolutely fucking unacceptable when my entire machine is going to drop drastically in price when the new console hits and basically I'm getting a new, free game or two for my trade-in and that's it.
I'm fine with sticking with consoles for their exclusives on a "buy Nintendo, buy whichever multiplat box is more popular first" basis as long as the cycles are a minimum of five years apart.
This mid-cycle upgrade bullshit (outside of shrinking die sizes for minor efficiency boosts) is bullshit.
