I picked Vampire but it saddens me to see how few are playing dwarfs.
The dwarves look great too. They are gong to be my second playthrough. Its just that vampires are more over the top, but the no-magic and high artillery in dwarves looks great.

Warhammer's main selling point is the Empire and Chaos with The Orks and maybe Brettoniia/Dwarves being the other popular factions.
They will have to just dream up some new fluff for the second and third games and expand the map with new game mechanics. Make it more end timesy than this one because there is just no fucking way that they will make a game and not have Empire, Chaos and the Old World in it that would be completely retarded in fact I'm 95% sure that the elves, Beastmen and the Skaven will be in an expansion pack in this game one already.

The lack of heroes in this is pretty disappointing imo. I can sort of understand not putting more factions into this game (though imo it should have launched with Empire, Orcs, Dwarves, High Elves, Chaos, Skaven, and Undead) but it wouldn't take that much effort for more hero characters.

Azhag died in the Battle of Osterwald in 2515 IC, meaning less than 15 years of within the games timeline.
Vlad von Carstein died in fucking 2051 IC. Vlad has been dead for over FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY FUCKING YEARS at this point.
They are willing to make minor concessions and bend the lore, not out-right fucking break it.

By your own reasoning, the Red Duke is about as likely to get put in as Abhorash, since while he's still alive he hasn't been relevant in decades. Vlad, meanwhile, has had updated rules for each new edition and proved popular enough to bring back as a major character for End Times. There's also the fact that they had to work around the simple fact that over half the special characters in the Orcs & Goblins book are deceased. Ahzag also had being a Deathstar going for him, since CA has gone out of their way to add each faction's respective one in for their faction.
Also, Chaos is the only faction thus far to have three LL, none of which are casters or even hybrids. The only confirmed caster LLs thus far are Gelt, Kemmler, and to a lesser extent Ahzag. More will no doubt be coming, but you're looking to stick to a theme that just isn't there yet.

Im a bit sceptical about the fact that chaos lacks an actual missile unit, Marauder horsemen dont really cut. Zacharias would be no different from Kemmler aside from having a dragon, and in that sense he would be no different from Mannfred.
The Red Duke or Krell, Lord of Undeath would provide an alternative and would be RELEVANT TO THE CURRENT MAP.
The map fucking FOCUSES on the Empire and its immediate surroundings, Bretonnia is part of that, Mousillon is part of Bretonnia and already has a VC-related faction present, the Red Duke of Aquiatane likes to hang out in Mousillon.
Also that level 2 shit totally doesn't matter when it comes to gameplay. Archaon is just as powerful of a Wizard as Azhag in-game. If they were counting the "levels" when it comes to casting, Mannfred would be OP as a motherfucker.
My argument is that they will synthesize the TT, the lore, and game mechanics to make the best choices. The conclusion I arrive it from such a synthesis would be Krell or The Red Duke.
