I figured Steam would start selling movies, but I didnt think contracts and legal bullshit would keep them from selling GOOD ones.

Can I just go ahead and fucking say that DeNiro didn't have enough good movies to be justify his long fucking list of shit movies.

And he's always handled and marketed as THE LEGENDARY ROBERT DENIRO.

He was in Godfather II and carried Taxi driver, thats more than enough.

Meet the fockers and that movie where he boxes Stallone was enough for neither of those to matter

Now why on earth would anyone ever do that?
>>
>>338394657
Most of the movie fell pretty flat. There were a couple funny parts though.
>>
>>338395940
That's region restricted. Here in italy I don't get anyone of those, for instance.
>>
>>338396563
I will never understand it. My college's best friend buys physical copies. I introduced him to torrenting and shit, but kept doing it anyway.

We're both aeronautical engineers...
>>
>>338397275
That makes no sense. You would think any and all mafia related movies would be all over the place in Italy. Anyway, that's your own problem for being a third worlder.
>>
>>338397426
Why do engineers feel the need to tell everyone they're engineers? How does it feel to be the vegan of occupations?
>>
>>338397582
Better being a third worlder than someone who pays 20 for DIGITAL STREAMING ACCESS to a movie.

If you buy the physical copy and then torrent the film them then you're fine. Also torrenting has a lot of malware so fucking up your PC because you wanted to watch benchwarmers be my guest. If you torrent and don't pay for the film then you're just greedy. Plus owning the physical copy means you really own the film.

there's a few decent ones on there, not that anyone with a brain would be buying this shit.

I don't think you can even buy movies, I think they just sell rentals.

The point was that everybody does stupid shit, no matter their occupation, education level, etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cognitive_biases

We're able to make rational decisions, but we're also wired to economise resources. He's been doing it that way all his life and he keeps doing it, because he's never taken the time to reflect about it.

Btw, my gf is vegan. She just wanted me to mention it.

>Alright fucking seriously now this is just taking the piss.

No, Steam started taking a piss when they allowed an extremely high amount of piss shit shovelware onto their platform over 5 years ago. This is just defecating on horse that has long since decayed.

Maybe he just likes having a physical collection of films on a shelf. Also some things are a pain in the ass to pirate as I've found with some documentaries and UK shows.

It's extra useful when you travel as much as he does. Want to watch X movie? Too bad you didn't bring it with you!

>some things are a pain in the ass to pirate
Once I spent 50 minutes with him browsing a shop looking for a specific movie. I've never taken that long searching for anything online.

Also, britanon got 007. KEK.
>>
>>338402705
Don't see the first thing as an issue, oh dear a minor inconvenience of not being able to watch a film because I didn't have a copy... But you'd just watch something else anyway. Can't imagine being so desperate to watch a specific film that this would bother me.

I'll admit the second has only happened a couple of times but it was rectified by going on Amazon and spending £1 on a DVD.

I guess you're now going to say something about convenience and, well, I don't particularly mind waiting a bit of time to watch something.
>>
>>338402705
>>338404315
Meh. He could buy physical versions and download/rip a version for laptop/phone/whatever for travel. Hell some dvd/blu-rays already come with a digital version.
>>
>>338404315
The difference here is being able to choose between every movie ever and just the ones that you could fit in your baggage.
