I was playing it with my tv audio and it was fine, but as soon as i switched to headset, I basically shit my pants. The atmosphere is amazing. Totally recommend. And it's cheap right now too.

It was amazing but too long. 20 hours of it are a bit too much. On the other hand, kudos to them for making it a long experience for balancing the fact that it didn't have multiplayer.
That's the reason why I can't really tell if I liked it or not, mixed feelings at max.

Amazing optimization, looks amazing, plays amazing. Everything about it is really good, only issue is that it is a bit long which I think hurts it considering the genre.

i agree with anyone saying it was too long but personally i loved the atmosphere and immersive feeling that much i could have easily played it for 5-10 hours more.
What mods should I install if I get the game? Are the randomized AI mods any good given the behavior of Alium is pretty much scripted how it always follows the player?

The game is made to work well like that, you would ruin the experience. Like in the movies, the aliens are intelligent as fuck and they DO follow their prey, making it random wouldn't be right

Too spooky for me. If you like tense cat and mouse stealth games you will love it. Good resource management and item crafting and a flawless atmosphere. The spaceship creaking and malfunctioning jumped me more than the alien half the time. I haven't finished it yet, took a break at what others have told me is around the halfway point. Can only play in small increments; I just get so anxious and palm sweaty. Don't expect a first person shooter because that's not what it really is at all. Go ahead and shoot the alien or people for that matter and see what happens.. on that note sometimes it is nice to pop one bandit in the head and hide in a locker while the alien wipes out the rest of them. That's one really fun thing about the game is playing with the aliens ai even if it leads to your doom. If you do play it: DO NOT SPRINT. EVER. Bitch has clogs on that only look like converse
