Nah, it just looks like more of the same stuff they've been spitting out for the last couple of years. I don't enjoy dailies and sitting in fucking orgrimmar/garrison waiting for queue's to pop. Plus, the leveling experience is like 10 hours at this point to get to max level, it's not fun anymore.
There's no sense of dread/danger getting killed while pve'ing because all the mobs are ridiculously weak compared to you. The game is just past it's prime and the only ones sticking around are the addicts who just can't give it up.

Normally there has always been something that wowed me back (no pun intended), but every new feature in this expansion is just awful.
Let's review:

- Obvious Burning Crusade nostalgia grab
I would say the only decent things this expansion is offering are Mythic+ dungeons and updated animations.

Blood looks pretty interesting. A lot of the blood dk community are up in arms about it, but only because they won't be able to play it like a dps like you can now. Most of the level headed tanks in progression guilds seem to think it's pretty decent, if a bit clunky
Unholy seems to have universally well received feedback, especially compared to most other plate melee classes.
Frost looks boring, but what else is new.

In reality, it's not going to be that bad up front. The zones are going to be some decent variety of green and diverse. It problem is going to be for the final part of all the zone storylines, it's going to involve the legion raining down and all kinds of fel corrupted bullshit. They have a new resource (Insanity), when they get to 100 Insanity, they can acitvate Voidform. Every second they remain in Voidform increases their haste by 1% and drains X Insanity, where X insanity increases every time it ticks. Right now Blood has tools to handle pretty much every situation, in addition to having a bonus playstyle unlocked once you get high enough gear level to accumulate enough multistrike.
It's fun to play, but it's not how a tank should work. Legion blood is just very different. You have to make a call about if you want to try and use your runes to proactively or reactively defend against damage, which is totally different now because it's all reactive right now.
It doesn't sound too bad, though I do agree that something needs to be done to fix the gap that blood tap removal is leaving. Blood on live right now has a really nice flow to it.

Haunt's gone, though you can access it as a talent. Your two main dots are corruption and agony, and you use unstable affliction to spend soul shards, and you can throw them all on at once or space them out, depends on if you want to do a heavy burn or spread the damage. You can additionally talent into two more dots I think. So you can have next to no dots if you want via talents, or a metric shit ton.
Demo seems to have gotten a reword to what people have always wanted it to be, and the initial reaction to it was good, but I haven't seen recent opinions on it.

Agony and Corruption, UA is your soul shard spender. It's a DOT sure but you can't spam it. You can choose talents that will net you 2 additional dots: haunt (now it's just a generic dot with a CD that resets when the target dies) and soul siphon (same dot that drain life as usual).

Frost having to wait for a Balance patch every tier to not turn into absolute garbage is not good design. Frost has had the exact same issue since the day DK's were introduced, Obliterate doesn't scale with anything except your overall ilvl. Frostscythe goes a ways to fix this, but only by making people not use Obliterate at all.
It's not good design and says bad things about the decision making process behind the class.

Ironfur replaces Savage Defense, giving you a ton of armour instead of dodge. Moonfire replace Faerie Fire, you have Feral/Balance Affinity giving you a bunch of Cat/Boomkin abilities for when you're not tanking the boss, general QoL improvements. Also you get the Stone bear form which is awesome.
Guardian isn't getting the massive, shitty overhaul of Blood DK's, they're just getting QoL buffs and some flavour changes.

Deeper Strategem and Roll the Bones gets RETARDED. You get the buff that causes your Cooldowns to reset quicker every time your spend Combo Points and the one that causes you to generate extra combo points (and for a bonus, the one that gives you extra energy regen) and you basically spend a full minute with Adrenaline Rush up and Killing Spree resetting every 15 seconds.
I love the concept of the ability, but the simple fact is that it is so powerful that by necessity the spec is going to be completely gimp no matter how good you are as a player for progression simply because you're relying so heavily on RNG. It's the Rogue equivalent to the current Fire mage, except at least the current Fire mage can track the cooldown on their trinket.
I'll buy and play it for as long as it holds my interest. Kind of like Heavensward.

Probably new Demonology Warlock with Unholy Death Knight as my main alt.
The new swarm summoner mentality for Demonology really does it for me. Summon an army of demons and let them rip shit apart while you empower them, set them on fire, and occasionally implode them ontop of the enemy.
Unholy is turning into more of a master of the undead in Legion, which is what I've always wanted. I've wanted a Stitches abomination bro ever since the class was announced, and we're getting that. There is a talent that makes your Raise Dead summon an additional minion, which lends to the plate-wearing necromancer feel I want. Unholy as a whole is getting more thematic focus on disease and pestilence, just like the glory days of patch 3.0 Wrath with four disease Unholy Blight.
I'm down for both of these changes, and apparently they're both shaping up to be solid specs on the beta.

Bad compared to the last 2 expansions at least; They removed a vast majority of active mitigation abilities and pretty much reverted the way tanks works to how they worked pre-Mists, which means at the mercy of Healers and not really doing anything the whole fight.
Feral/Resto are very similar to how they were in WoD and they were already great, Resto is almost identical but even cooler to play out
Feral already had one of the 3 the best DPS rotations in the game and now it's made better by removing Savage Roar which was just a tedius 5cp reapplication and changing the last talent tree by removing Lunar Inspiration and adding a much better AoE option, Brutal Slash which will be the empowered version of Swipe for Ferals, and Omen of Clarity to increase your energy by 30 and making your next 3 spells free. (bloodtalons is still there)

They changes the way Savage Roar and Rip work. Savage Roar cannot have 100% uptime as it can currently because the duration has been nerfed from 32 to 24 seconds, and Rip is refreshed by Ferocious Bite when the target is in execute phase. This means you absolutely need Savage Roar to get the biggest possible Rip (Bloodtalons, Tigers Fury, Berserk and SR) which you will then refresh infinitely until the boss dies. This is further enforced by the fact that one of the artifact abilities duplicates your Rip for exactly the same amount of damage and duration (except as Shadow Damage, with added Haste Scaling).
You cannot play Legion Feral without Savage Roar, full stop. I hate it, but that's just the way it is.

And becomes literally worthless in the execute phase. You see the problem right? Half the talents just cannot work together.
You cannot take Jagged Wounds with Savage Roar without making one of them redundant. Either you keep up SR and let your DoTs fall off, or let SR fall off to keep your DoTs up. Sabertooth becomes redundant in the most important phase of the fight, Brutal Slash replaces Thrash but doesn't Proc Shadow Thrash and has a huge as fuck cooldown, And Moment of Clarity almost inevitably ends up in Energy Capping. Elune's Guidance would be great if you could take it alongside SR and Jagged Wounds, but it's in the same tier as JW. Without those two talents, it's pretty much shit.
Feral has the core gameplay down in Legion, but the core gameplay isn't changing. The issue is there is a serious case of conflicting design going on. It seems like the spec is designed around the idea that you have the T18 4set bonus in order to play correctly.

two continents with two different questlines. You start in a small area and work your way up to the main city (lets take Undercity for example if you play undead)
From there you have the warchief's command board that will say "here's two places that are your level pick one or both and go there" you then walk to that place and do the story quests which will lead you to the next area
imo the game keeps you busy until about 50 then the zones get boring. But until then every area has its own storyline to play through and there's a lot of room to mess around so if you don't like the Undead quests you could take a zepplin from the main city to the other continent and pick up the quests there to do
also dungeons which don't take a lot of time and battlegrounds for pvp. It's not the same progression as XIV though, you don't HAVE to complete the dungeon in that area before moving on and you don't have to be a specific level before starting a quest.

Undead - I thought it had the coolest quests in vanilla and wished they actually became a chaos faction. The plague stuff was very cool. UD areas also are feature some nice spooky/ominous music which was easy on the ears for long periods of play.

That is just flat out wrong. Even when you level up, you can click your journal and get breadcrumb quests. Maybe you're just used to the pre-Cata quest hubs in Stonetalon and couldn't find the newer ones. You can totally quest there without breadcrumb quests if you are level appropriate.

Unless Stonetalon is the literally one exception, that's just not how zones work post Cata. You get to their level range, walk there, and pick up the quests. If anything, I remember most of the quests in Stonetalon being locked behind pre-reqs before Cata.

Most zones don't have that problem, but Stonetalon definitely does. They could've changed it, but because of the ranking system in that zone you needed to do something in Ashenvale before you could pick up any quests in Stonetalon.
That aside, the zones are still really linear and my point still stands. You can choose what zone you want to quest in sure, but you can't choose what to do in the zone you pick.

They have a sense of variety, scale and atmosphere I just haven't seen in another mmo. What a fucking tragedy there aren't incentives to really inhabit them beyond leveling. Wish there were.
Only mmos I'm aware of that successfully encourage players to live in the wider world are survival, but for what I've seen they end up looking visually repetetive or just stylistically ugly.
