People with High functioning forms of Autism, like Aspergers for instance, can be extremely dedicated and talented at certain things, almost even comparable to geniuses.
Magic is likely the kind of thing that requires such talent and dedication to even be a novice mage. Even in fictional worlds the most basic of spells are often impossible to use by most non-mages.

Graces was meh and being honest she was the only reason I finished the game. it's probably the best character set I've played on a Tales game and the one I've had the most fun experimenting.

if Graces F did one thing right, it was that all the characters were pretty fun to play
