I like the idea of earlier games in a series being ported than newer ones. I assume a port means some new players will be trying the games out, and starting from a newer better game makes it harder to go backwards. Kinda like Disgaea 1 being ported to PC. A lot of people want one of the newer games to be ported, but that doesn't make sense to me. It makes sense to start with earlier games and work one's way up I think. Of course that's assuming later games will be ported; there's no guaruntee for that. But I do think its better to start from the beginning and work one's way up, although in this case Shinovi isn't technically the first game in the series.

Just ignore those people. Those people are wrong. The Vita has plenty of great games and even if you don't count multiplats there are still some neat titles. And even if they were all multiplats the Vita is still a handheld and handhelds are inherently advantageous in some ways to other platforms for some people. So there's no such thing as a Vita truly being a bad thing.
My favorite Vita games currently are Persona 4 Golden and Freedom Wars. Might be getting Moe Chronicle in the near future. I'm just excited for all those PC releases.

I dunno. I think Megadimension will wind up having higher sales than Re;birth 3 at the very least. The Re;birth games were kind of same-y and Megadimension was the only game that was actually genuinely thought to be a high quality game among fans. Its also the first mainline game in the series to have a bit of a leap upgrade wise. the Re;birth games were too similar. I don't know that Megadimension will reach Re;birth 1 levels of sales but I think it will at least beat out Re;birth 3 and CERTAINLY Nep U.

Nah. Its got some problems but I think Nep games are fun enough. At the very least, they have really fun dialogue, good music, and a somewhat fun combat system. I like how where you position a character holds some strategic importance in the effectiveness of your and enemy attacks. Its not deep gameplay or anything but its serviceable.
I don't really think Nep is all that relevant to Senran Kagura though. Very different kinds of gameplay, except for U. And U is like watered down SK from what I've heard.

Even Nep U didn't do badly, I don't think. While its a different kind of game from a different team, I recall Spike Chunsoft saying they were happy with the sales of Danganronpa 1 back when it only had 30,000 owners and it hasn't increased too much since then, so I imagine 40,000 on Nep U isn't bad. Bad sales are probably more like how Mind/Zero and The Firefly Diary sold.
Also strangely I think Nep U is actually not as popular as Senran Kagura. Nep U never really got that much attention.

You have the shooting/stealth parts (30% of the playtime?) and the platforming parts (which together with cutscenes or other calm moments make up for 70% of the game) they are not challenging sections, at worst you won't know where to go next and need to look around for a couple of minutes.
It doesn't have enough for me and I never bought any uncharted. I did get TLoU though, since it has more gameplay/stealth segments and less platforming time, it also has a neat upgrade/resource management side to it which is important at max difficulty. and TLoU's multiplayer is also more interesting if you have co-op buddies. Uncharted skips just enough complexity to grab my interest.
I'm sure it'll sell well and give naughtydog all the money they need to make their next project. I'm glad the franchise is over now, mayhaps I'll start buying more of their games
