How alive is the community? I know the game ultimately sold a lot and I did play Reaper as well, albeit briefly and stopped after I did Act 5 story once. But I was always kind under the impression that it's a pretty small community nowdays

Is still big, there's just not much to discuss here because we all know what to do already. The official forums are constantly moving. If you only played Act 5 in RoS you should really try out adventure mode, it's a lot of fun and no one plays through the campaign anymore.
Also seasons = ladder like in D2. I don't know why they renamed it.

dont forget console also got all 5 of the extra tabs buyable with gold on the first day of 2.4 while the pc version holds them hostage until you grind a bunch of bullshit and can only get one tab every 3 months.

You can't join TX if you aren't P250 at least.
If you are and still can't do T1 you are doing something wrong. Also, nobody does chest runs.
