Solider has a low skill ceiling too especially when they added the gunboats. Pyro is as low a ceiling as you can get. Only when they added airblast crit combo did Pyro's act like they took skill.

D.Va was always the most fun to play, though I hope they give her a buff. Needs better damage and smaller critbox. She was good against scrubs, but anyone who realized how big her critbox was could down her easily and quickly.

Mercy is actually doing a lot more consistently than either Lucio or Zen.
The reason here is that she has no offensive capability (her pistol does insane damage for what it's worth) and a limited defensive technique. You are ALWAYS focusing on where you are and what cover you have, you need to make sure you're in line of sight of your teammates, watch what they are doing to be ready to cover them, keep an eye on who is doing damage and who is going to ulti so you can power boost them, all while knowing where the enemy team is and keeping yourself out of their vision.
It's a lot to keep track of and it really shows you who knows how to play Mercy and who doesn't. The shitters pocket heal a single person and just stand next to them the entire time.

Can we stop lying to ourselves about this? If a character is capable of being part of an incredibly strong set-up in this game, there is no way in hell they can be the worst. A team with a Bastion, Reinhardt, and a Mercy is going to be absurdly strong, especially if they are the team that wins the cap on a Hybrid map. I guess you can pretend that Symmetra's shield-piercing shot isn't garbage, but it won't change the fact that Mercy outheals the damage by a billion to one and she wouldn't get shredded for peaking a damage-boosted Bastion.

He just can't keep up, in a game of two evenly matched teams consisting of veteran players the Zenyatta will be nothing more than food. He doesn't have the healing prowess or the ult potential of the other supports. He is terrible and it makes me sad to say that, I've got two friends who loved playing him early in the CB but haven't been able to touch him since the nerf.

I like Widow but I never play her because my team usually has two of her plus a hanzo already. Reinhart and Mercy are boring as fuck to play and only picked because they're free wins for doing nothing. Soldier feels too vanilla to play in a game like this.

I've been in the closed beta since it started, Bastion early on was strong when he had a shield but his current incarnation is utterly useless. If you stack him with a Rein and Mercy all you've done is set up 3 of your teammates to be easy kills for the enemies, people who aren't brand new at the game know how to deal with bastion and aren't afraid of him.
You now have 3 immobile players who will easily get flanked because your other 3 members can't hold up 3v6, no matter where you go as this boosted bastion trio the enemy will simply avoid you.

I think my play time as Assault was split between 76 and Reaper, never played a defense character, I did play Reinhardt the most and only every played Zenyatta on support but I only played support a few times anyway.
